Meet Adison

THE GAL BEHIND THE CAMERA

My love for photography was born in the walls of an Indiana farmhouse. My first clients were the horses, pigs, cows, dogs, and even one time a llama, who also called our land home. This is where I learned those small-town values of hard work, slow living, and unconditional love. I’ve watched my community come together time and time again to help someone in need, and I’ve been witness to extraordinary sadness and joy. And through it all, I’ve had my faithful camera by my side.

Encouraged by my parents, who have been cheering on my photography since I was just ten years old, I’ve spent a lifetime fostering my passion. I have them to thank for my first real camera and endless rides to photo sessions before I was old enough to drive. So, it’s probably no surprise that my photography -- loved into existence by family and friends -- adopted a warm, wholesome, joyful look.

Today, I am a wedding, family, and senior photographer for the free-spirited, lively souls of Indiana! I create galleries flooded with cheerful, golden light and take the photos that become priceless family heirlooms. Together, we can create the perfect session that showcases your unique personality while also making you look freaking stunning in every photo! So, get ready to see me roll up with my Nikon camera and get this party started!

But I don’t spend all my time behind a camera!

When the Camera Isn’t Clicking

I took a step back from being a classroom teacher after 7 years in 2024. It’s true, and I loved every minute of it, but my two girls at home take up most of my time now rather than spreading myself thin amongst working two jobs.

But when I’m not kickin’ it with my girls or snapping away with my camera, I’m probably camping with my family, listening to an audiobook, or baking chocolate chip cookies. My ideal Friday night involves pizza and a bonfire or an intense game of Sequence. And my perfect Saturday (when I’m not photographing a wedding, of course!) includes a road trip with Aaron and the Frankster + Eedie to grab some grub.

But enough about me! I want to hear all about you! So, whaddya say to grabbing a pair of iced blondies and trading stories about life and love while planning a photography experience you’ll never forget?
